Surf Slides

LawnSurfing® SurfSlides are a novel, patented sport-of-skill combining aspects of many action sports such as surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding. Surf slides offer year-round economic opportunities for water parks, theme parks, ski resorts and stand-alone facilities. LawnSurfing® SurfSlides are designed for all ages and abilities, and are constructed using soft-architectural ‘green technologies’ to positively enhance existing terrain and aesthetic environments.

1. Surf Slides as a new sport

In the evolution of sport, sometimes certain sports cannot be enjoyed all the time: Surfing needs waves, snowboarding needs snow and winter, and skateboarding needs safe and fun places to ride. In an effort to address these issues, The LawnSurfing Companies have created the surf slides, an opportunity to get the board riding stoke year round in areas where there may not be mountains, snow or oceans.

2. How to Ride Surf Slides

Anybody can enjoy riding surf slides! Utilizing a variety of riding methods, ranging from inner tubes to body boards to stand up boards, riders can surf downhill in a variety of terrain, much like ski resorts. Experienced riders quickly pick up the new sport regardless of riding background; the cross over from all board sports is simple, yet beginners quickly learn to ride after a ride or two.

3. LawnSurfing® Green Mission

We believe in becoming a partner with the natural environment, enhancing rather than defacing what nature has given us. To meet our goal of working with nature, we limit impacts on all areas we install the surf slides, and work to utilize only soft-architectural materials in their development. Our materials are completely biodegradable or chemically-inert, producing no long term adverse affects to the terrain. Once the surf slides are built, they become part of the natural living environment, requiring only landscaping for their long term maintenance. Using water and gravity as our means for excitement, our surf slide systems will not harm the earth.
